I have started my clothing business under the brand name ‘UghaSereki’,three years ago which deals in hand woven muga and Tussar silk Mekhela Chador designed by me with an aim to supply authentic products to people with affordable prices and also to make the rural women empowered. The Muga Silk is GI tagged to the State of Assam in India and it is known for its durability and has a natural yellowish golden tint with a shimmering and glossy texture.

Recently I have started making different home decor products like Table Runner,Table mat,Cushion Covers,Tea-cosy,Curtains etc. I believe, to increase visibility and enhance wider acceptance for traditional Assamese muga silk by converting these into unique dress materials and traditional apparels,besides creating exclusive home decor items.
