The Curtain Raiser event of the “Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Assam Association, Delhi ” is scheduled on Sunday 3rd September at 7:30 AM which would be formally launched by Sri Hare Krishna Das, hon’ble President, Assam Association Delhi at Talkatora Cricket Ground, Behind President's Estate, Mother Teresa Crescent Road, New Delhi,110001 The Marathon run will be started at 7:45 AM . The on-spot registration will be started from 7:00 AM. Free T- Shirt ( M, L, XL, XXL Size) would be provided to the first 100 participants. Dr Sanjukta Parashar (an Assam/ Meghalaya Cadre IPS Assamese lady currently posted in Delhi) an eminent Marathon runner will flag off the event and lead the Marathon Team. Medal would be provided in the category of Sr Citizen/ Men / Women / children. Tea- Snacks would be provided after the run. The Friendly cricket matches would be commenced at 10:00 AM amongst our Sister Associations viz. Assam People’s Welfare Association (NOIDA) vs Assam Association, Faridabad and then Assam Association, Delhi Vs Assam Association, Gurgaon. This will help all associations to come under single platform bringing large nos of community people . In order to make the event grand success , your kind participation is most required.
